Configure VAT reports - overview

A VAT report is a document that contains the VAT information related to your business.

A VAT report must be filed to a respective tax agency once per reporting period.

The VAT report is usually set up in a worksheet format that is determined by the particular tax agency.

In Visma.net ERP, you can configure the content elements of the VAT report based on the report window provided by the responsible tax agency, and define the rules for automatically filling the VAT report by appropriate values.

Although the VAT reports differ depending on the taxes to be reported, generally the elements of the report window and the rules for filling the report are common.

If you use the VAT reporting functionality in Visma.net ERP, the purchase invoice will be automatically generated upon release of the VAT report at the end of the reporting period.
