Attach a note to a record

You can attach any text to records, as described in this topic. For example, you can add important information for your colleagues who work with this record.

  1. Go to the window where you want to attach a note to a record.
    If you are in the PL edition of the window, click to leave the list view.

  2. Select the record you want to attach a note to.
  3. In the window title bar, click (Notes).
  4. In the Enter record note dialog box, type the text of the note.
  5. Click OK.
  6. In the window title bar, verify that the icon to the left of the Notes button has changed to .

To read the note, click in the window title bar.
