Visma.net ERP
About the integration with Excel
Many users, having worked with Microsoft Excel for years, prefer to perform detailed
financial analysis by using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet on their desktop.
For such
users, Visma.net ERP supports integration with Microsoft Excel.
Visma.net ERP uses the spreadsheet format introduced in Microsoft Office 2007, so if you use an earlier version of Microsoft Office, you should install the appropriate plug-in.

You can export data from any Visma.net ERP table to an Excel spreadsheet any time you want to.
For the detailed procedure,
see: Export data to Excel.
You can define your own export settings by using the User settings (SM203010) window.

Additionally, you can aggregate data from multiple windows to one Excel workbook and
use the file as you want, for example, as a source for summarising and
analysing data.
To aggregate data in this way, do the following:
- Export data from each window you want to use.
- Copy the sheets from the exported files to one Excel workbook, and save the resulting file.

With Visma.net ERP, you can easily import data from an Excel spreadsheet into a table in a window. For example, you can import the details of an invoice in the Purchase invoices (AP301000) window. For details, see Import data from a local file to a table.
