Change clauses for a reusable filter
A reusable filter may contain active and inactive clauses; each clause is represented in one row
of the table.
When a filter is applied to a window, the active clauses are applied
to the records in the list, and the inactive clauses are ignored.
You can easily
modify the reusable filter by changing the active status of the clauses before
the reusable filter is applied, as described in this topic.
- Click
.
- In the Filter settings dialog box, click the unlabelled filter name field, and select the filter.
- If you want to use a clause in the filter, select the check box that precedes the clause. Select all clauses you want to make active.
- If you want to exclude the clause from the filter, clear the check box that precedes the clause. Select all clauses you want to make inactive.
- If you want to save the state of the clauses, click Save.
- Click OK to apply the filter and close the dialog box.
