Delete images or remove link

If you have linked an image to a purchase with receipt or a purchase invoice, you can remove the link at any time. When you open a purchase invoice or a purchase with receipt, the linked images open automatically on the side.

  1. Select Cash and bank.
  2. Select Bank transactions this period.
  3. Choose the transaction for which you want to remove the link or delete the image from.

The transactions that are linked to an image have a check mark on the transaction row.

  1. Select the journal entry link that the transaction corresponds to.
  2. Select the paper bin icon in the bottom right corner of the image that opened.
  3. In the message, select whether you want to Delete image or Remove link.
  1. Select Purchasing - Purchase invoices.
  2. Select the purchase invoice for which you want to remove the link or delete the image from.

The invoices that have an image linked to them are shown with a paperclip on the invoice row.

  1. Select Open.
  2. Select the paper bin icon in the bottom right corner of the image that opened.
  3. In the message, select whether you want to Delete image or Remove link.
  1. Go to Purchasing - Source document images.
  2. Select the arrows that appear on the bottom right corner of an image when hovering over it.

If the image is linked, follow the steps for purchases with receipt or purchase invoices above.

  1. Select Delete image.
  2. Select Delete in the message that pops up.

Please note that if you select Delete image, you will permanently delete the image as well as remove the link. The image will also be removed from the Visma eAccounting app.
