Visma eAccounting Smart
Upload images
Under Purchasing - Source document images you will see a list of all the images you have uploaded in Visma eAccounting Smart and you are able to filter the images as receipts or purchase invoices. When you have uploaded the images you can see which information that has been registered automatically. You are then able to preview and add information, such as the date, in order to better sort the images in the order you want to register them.
- Select Purchasing - Source document images.
- Select the image you want to add. This could be a file that you have saved locally on your computer.
The file formats supported are JPEG, JPG, PNG, PDF, TIF and TIFF.
- Drag the file into Visma eAccounting Smart. You can drag and drop several files simultaneously.
- Select Purchasing - Purchase invoices and click New purchase invoice.
- Select the source document image you want to add by dragging the file from your computer and dropping it onto the purchase invoice. You can drag and drop several files simultaneously.
The image will now stay open on the side and you can use the image details to fill in the fields of your purchase invoice.

- Select Purchasing - Source document images.
- Select Upload file.
- Choose the image you want to upload to Visma eAccounting Smart.

In the Visma eAccounting or Visma Scanner app, you can photograph, save and send receipts and invoices to Visma eAccounting Smart digitally. In the apps, you specify whether the image is an invoice or a receipt.
You can email the image to the Visma eAccounting or Visma Scanner apps. This means that you can forward e.g. an invoice you received by email or a scanned document to the app. In the app, you then approve the image and forward it digitally to Visma eAccounting Smart. The images you email to the app must be in jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, tif or tiff format.
- To be able to email images to the app, you must generate an email address in the app.
- Start the app and select About in the menu.
- Select Inbound email address (Android) or Settings (iPhone).
An email address linked to you as user and your company is now automatically generated. The generated email address cannot be changed.
- Email your image (PDF or photo) to the generated email address.
When you choose to email an image, you will receive a notification of this in the app.
- Open the app and review and approve the image.
Once you have approved the image, it is sent to Visma eAccounting Smart.
