Enter stock balance

You can enter how many articles you have in stock for each individual article that belongs to the Goods sales category. The stock balance is reduced when you create an order or invoice in which the article is included. If you have integration with Visma Webshop, the number of articles is reduced when you receive an order in your webshop.

You see the number of articles that are reserved for orders and the number of articles available in stock. The stock quantity is not affected by an order saved as Draft.

New article

1. Select Sales - Articles.
2. Click on New article.
3. Enter the basic information for the article.
4. Fill in Stock balance.
5. Choose Save and the article is shown in the Articles list.

Existing article

1. Select Sales - Articles.
2. Select the article you want to enter the stock balance for from the list.
3. Select Edit.
4. Fill in Stock balance.
5. Select Save.

When you work with the stock extension, changes of the stock balance are made through inbound and outbound deliveries.

Inbound and outbound deliveries can be created manually or automatically as a result of a sales order, sales invoice, credit note or performing a stocktaking. Read more in Make an inbound delivery and Make an outbound delivery or Create stocktaking.
