The Price per hour tab shows the activities that are defined as being priced per hour. You can choose how detailed you want the pricing of activities and employees to be. You can change the level of detail for a price list when you create a new period for it.
The Price per transaction tab shows the activities that are defined as being priced per transaction. You specify the price per transaction the customer is to be charged and how long you estimate it will take to complete the transaction. The time can be given either as a decimal or in hours and minutes. If you want to specify the time in hours and minutes, for example 15 minutes, enter 0:15. The program will then convert the time to a decimal, i.e. 0.25 hours.
The estimated time per transaction is used in conjunction with time registration in order to produce and save calculations of chargeable time. The chargeable time per registration is calculated by multiplying the number of transactions by the estimated time per transaction. Once the registration is included on the invoice basis, the hours are considered as invoiced instead. By comparing the invoiced time with the actual time worked, the program can calculate the utilization ratio per employee.
- Select Save when you have priced all activities under the tabs Price per hour and Price per transaction.
