Journal entries

In the program component Accounting - Journal entries, all journal entries are shown. When you click on a line in the list, it expands and shows more information about the entry. You can open the original document if you want to look at it, and you can also chose different Actions, for example to create a correcting entry. Which actions that are available depends on the type of the journal entry. To print a journal entry you select the entry, choose Create PDF and then print the file that is created.

Select period, sort and print

Under Accounting - Journal entries you can select a specific financial year or set dates for the list. By clicking on the column headings, you can sort the list so that it shows the ledger entries in the required order.

To print a ledger entry, select Create PDF. You then open the PDF file and print it. If you want to print several journal entries or a journal entry list, you can go to Accounting - Reports and print the Journal entries list report.

Journal series

Under Settings - Company settings, the tab Accounting settings, you indicate which journal series should be used in the program. You can then select the journal series under Accounting - Journal entries. The advantage of using different journal series is that it makes it easier to later trace a certain type of transaction.

The journal series are automatically assigned a number order that starts at 1 every financial year. It is not possible to change the number order.

Period allocation entries

If you use the Period allocation function to divide the costs, you can see upcoming allocations under Accounting - Journal entries - Planned period allocations. A notification is shown when it is time to post the next allocation.
