User rights
Working in a company with multiple users, it may be necessary to use permissions. Using permissions can prevent any interferences between yourself and other employees in Visma eEkonomi Smart and they can also be used to limit what parts of the program that employees gain access to.
If you try to work with a feature you do not have permission to use, a message is shown to indicate that you do not have access to that particular feature.
Under Settings - Permissions, users with Full program permissions can change permissions for other employees working in Visma eEkonomi. If you are the only user in Visma eEkonomi Smart, you automatically get Full permission and the settings for permissions are not shown. If you add another user, the permission settings will be shown.

Program permissions
| No access | The user will still have access to Visma eEkonomi Smart, but is unable to do anything. If you want to change the user's access to the program, you can do that under Users and services in My services. |
| Read only | Gives the user the ability to read anything in the program. The user can also print reports. The user is not authorised to change any data. |
| Read only - auditor | The auditor can view all content, print reports, export SIE files and registers. An auditor cannot register or change anything in the company's accounting. The auditor's program permissions cannot be changed, not even by users with full access to the program. Read more about Register auditor as a user. |
| Limited |
The user has one or more program components where the permission is not set to Full access. |
| Full access | No limitations. |
Approval permissions
In companies with multiple employees you may also choose what approval permissions different users should have in the program.
| None | The user does not have permission to approve/reject purchase invoices and VAT reports. This option is automatically in place if the user has Read only or No access for Purchasing or Accounting. |
| Approve/Reject | The user has full permission to approve/reject purchase invoices and VAT reports. They can also create purchase invoices and VAT reports and send them for approval. This option is available if the user has Full access or Access without payments for Purchasing or Full access for Accounting. |
