Move accounts

When loading data, the accounts are automatically placed on different rows in the Income Statement report and Balance Sheet report. If the position of an account do not comply with how you want it, you can easily move an account to another row.

  1. Choose Settings in the main menu.
  2. Choose Report settings.
  3. Click on the Customize reports button.
  4. Click on Income Statement report or Balance sheet report depending on which accounts you want to move.
  5. Move an account by drag and drop.
  6. Choose Save.

Both the Income statement and Balance sheet reports can be further customized to better support your needs. Go to Settings - Report settings - Customize reports to add new subheadings to your reports.

Follow these steps to add a new subheading:

  1. Move the cursor to the heading where you want to place the new subheading.
  2. Click on the status symbol that appears to the right.
  3. Select Add subheading to create a new account group at the end of the selected heading.
  4. Name the new subheading.
  5. Drag and drop the accounts that you want to include in this group.

Note that it is not possible to change the position of a subheading.

Follow these steps to edit an added subheading:

  1. Move the cursor to the subheading.
  2. Click on the status symbol that appears to the right.
  3. Select Rename.
  4. Enter the new name.

Follow these steps to delete an added subheading:

  1. Move the cursor to the subheading.
  2. Click on the status symbol that appears to the right.
  3. Select Delete.

Note that the system’s default headings and subheadings cannot be renamed or deleted.
