Why is there a discrepancy between leave in Visma Lön Anställd and Visma Lön?

If the company uses seasonal hours and registers leave in percent, there may be a discrepancy between the time of leave in Visma Lön Anställd and Visma Lön.

Please note that everything will be calculated correctly in both Visma Lön and Visma Lön Anställd. You do not have to do anything to adjust the discrepancy.

The discrepancy is due to leave in Visma Lön Anställd being based on the actual time the employee should have worked that specific day. In Visma Lön, the calculation of leave is instead based on a percentage of average working hours.

This is in order for the sick benefit payments from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency to be carried out correctly. In Visma Lön Anställd, this calculation is instead done in order to calculate the flexitime correctly.

Example

The working hours for a full-time employee during seasonal work is 7 hours per day in Visma Lön Anställd.

Seasonal work is not managed in Visma Lön. Therefore, the average working hours for a full-time employee is 8 hours per day.

In this example, a full-time employee registers half a day of sick leave in percent (50%).

The calculation is always done in minutes.

In Visma Lön Anställd the calculation of leave is 50% * 420 minutes (7 hours) = 210 minutes (3.5 hours).

For the calculation to be correct in Visma Lön the value is recalculated in Visma Lön Anställd, before the synchronisation, according to the following:

210 / 420 = 0.5

0.5 * 480 (8 hours) = 240 minutes

Instead of 210 minutes, 240 minutes till be transferred to Visma Lön during the synchronisation.
