How is flexitime and compensatory time balance calculated?

You can see past flexitime and compensatory time balance in the calendar. The flexitime is summarised in advance, which means that if you for example have an employee who is on part-time sick leave which is registered towards the end of the month, all other time will be calculated as negative flexitime until the worked hours have been registered.

The current flexitime balance is always shown in the calendar as well as in the report under Statistics/Reports - Balance. Other types of balances cannot always be calculated. If a period, for example May, has not been transferred to Visma Lön and the following period, for example June, is locked in Visma Lön, other balances cannot be calculated for the period that has not yet been transferred (May, in this example).

What does the payroll administrator see in the employees' calendars?

  • Current month: Current flexitime and compensatory time balance
  • Previous month: For each submitted period, you will see which balance you had for the period it was locked
  • Flexitime/Compensatory time balance: The flexitime balance is shown for the last submitted period

What does the employee see in their calendar?

  • Current month: Current flexitime and compensatory time balance
  • Previous month: In a submitted period, the employee will see which balance they had for the period it was locked

For the correct compensatory time balance to show in Visma Lön you must carry out a synchronisation.
