Description of periods when creating new agreements
This topic only applies to payroll administrators who work in Visma Lön 300/600.

You can adjust what rules that should apply for different agreements. This means that you can add your own periods, times and what type of overtime, compensatory time or unsociable hours that should apply to each agreement.
It's only possible to create own periods for events that occur on the same date every year. For events where the date is not the same each year, predefined periods must be used.
These settings are enabled under Agreements - Create new and the tabs Rules for unsociable hours and Overtime rules. Read more in the topic Create or edit agreement.

This period can only be selected as an overtime rule and can be used for all agreement types.
The period Free day, Monday - Friday is used for an employee who has worked on a work free day between Monday - Friday.
The prerequisite is that the employee normally works Monday - Friday according to the work schedule, but with a setting in the bank holiday schedule which says that the current day is a free day.
This period can only be selected as an overtime rule and can be used for all agreement types.
The period Free day, Saturday is used for an employee who has worked on a work free day on a Saturday.
The prerequisite is that the employee normally works Saturdays according to the work schedule, but with a setting in the bank holiday schedule which says that the current day is a free day.
This period can only be selected as an overtime rule and can be used for all agreement types.
The period Free day (Midsummer's Eve, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) is used for an employee who has worked on Midsummer's Eve, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
The prerequisite is that the employee should work Midsummer's Eve, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve according to the work schedule, but with a setting in the bank holiday schedule which says that the current day is a free day.
This period can only be selected as an overtime rule and can be used for all agreement types.
The periods The first two hours and After two hours are used in connection to the two-hour rule.
The two-hour rule means that if an employee with regular working hours works overtime within two hours right before or after their normal working hours, the overtime is calculated as Overtime 1 for a maximum of two hours. After that, the hours worked will become Overtime 2. The same rules apply if the work shift goes past midnight. For employees with irregular working hours, the time is calculated as Overtime 2 straight away.
Example
An employee with regular working hours works normal hours between 8:00-17:00. If the employee works 6:00-19:00, the overtime is calculated in the following way:
Overtime 1: | 2 hours (at 6.00 - 8.00) |
Overtime 2: | 2 hours (at 17.00 - 19.00) |
This period can only be selected as a rule for unsociable hours and can be used for all agreement types.
If, for example, the National Day falls on a Thursday and the company has a bridge day on the Friday after the National Day, the rule Bank holiday (helgdag) in connection with National Day is used. An employee who works on the Friday will then receive compensation according to the type of unsociable hours that is used for that rule.
