Edit scheduled day

You can edit the working hours for a specific day for an employee with scheduled working hours. If the employee is making a long-term adjustment, you change the employee's work schedule instead. Read more in the topic Add or edit employee information.

Please note that you cannot edit a day that lies within a submitted or locked period.

Follow these steps to edit a scheduled day:

  1. Select Lön Smart - Calendar.
  2. Select employee from the list.
  3. Click New registration - Edit scheduled day or select a day in the calendar and click on next to Scheduled hours.

In the Edit scheduled day window you can see the hours for the current day according to the employee's ordinary work schedule.

  1. Adjust information such as date, start and end time for the change and/or which lunch break regulations that should apply for that day.
  2. Enter if the day should be a day off.

If Day off is selected, the scheduled time will be removed for that day. This could for example be useful if an employee usually has a day off on Fridays, but occasionally wants to take a day off on Wednesdays.

The option Show hours for full-time schedule is shown if the edit relates to a day that is included in a part-time schedule. If this option is selected, the times for the full-time schedule that the part-time schedule is based upon are shown. The settings that you enter under Times for full-time schedule determine what overtime compensation the employee will get.

The fields for unpaid breaks are only shown if the employee has a work schedule which includes such breaks. If the work schedule usually does not include unpaid breaks, but the deviating day should, it is possible to make that edit in the ordinary work schedule. When the fields are added to the ordinary work schedule, they are also shown under Edit scheduled day and are editable.

  1. Select Save.
