About the window elements
In Visma.net ERP, you use the window elements to enter data or settings, which the system stores in the database or uses as criteria to select what is displayed in the window.

Visma.net ERP supports the following types of window elements:
- Date field:
You use a date field to type a date. - Calendar:
You use this dialog box to select a date in a calendar.

You use this field to select a value from a list of predefined values or from another information table from the database.

A currency field is a type of lookup field that provides additional controls for currency manipulation.

You select or clear a check box to turn on or turn off an option.
If a field is marked with asterisk (*), you must fill it in.

When you enter data in the Visma.net ERP windows, you may notice that some elements are unavailable.
Some of these
unavailable elements are info fields: read-only fields that contain
system-generated values, such as document statuses and total amounts.
Other
unavailable elements can be used only if a specific option is selected in another
element on this window or on another window.
