Register time manually via day and week mode

You can use the day and week mode when you want to register all the times for a day or week at the same time. Here you get a good overview of your registrations. You can edit existing registrations, add new ones and mark finished days as ready. If you have user rights to register and/or edit time for employees other than yourself, you can do it in day and week mode. You can use the search field to quickly find time registrations for a specific customer, task or activity in the selected day or week.

  1. Choose Time registration in the main menu.
  2. Select the Week or Day tab, depending how you want to register the time.

There are several ways to add a new time registration:

  • Select the New registration green button, when you want to add time for a customer/task/activity that is not listed in the selected view. The same dialogue will open if you click on the clock icon in the top menu. You can select a favourite time registration by clicking on the blue star next to the Customer field.
  • Register time for a period by clicking on the arrow to the right of the New registration button selecting Register period when you add a new registration. Enter the dates for the period via the calender that is shown.
    To select multiple days in the calendar, the following key combinations can be used: Ctrl + mouse left-click - will mark the date as selected and other previously selected dates will also remain selected.
    Shift + mouse left- click - will select a period between two selected dates. You can also swipe the mouse marker over the period you wish to register.
    You can register periods for the activities Internal time and Absence. Once you click Save, the same time registration will be added for all the days that are included in the period.
  • Enter the time directly in an empty field in the overview. The time registration will be saved as soon as you leave the field.
  • Click on the +-sign next to a time entry field. The advantage in this case is that the program automatically will suggest customer, task and activity in the time registration dialogue.

If you want to register time for another employee, you must first select an employee and then New Registration.

  1. Enter Customer, Task, Activity and any other information, like Add as a favourite.
If this is a recurring activity, you can add it as a favourite. The item will be marked with a blue star and will be visible in the registration view at all times. If you wish to remove a favourite you only have to click on the star.
  1. Enter the time you have worked.
  2. Choose Save. The values are saved.

You can make changes or additions in both week and day mode. Inaccurate or incomplete registrations are shown in red.
