Post stock adjustments to the ledger

When posting stock adjustments to the ledger, the program calculates the changes in stock value based on the inbound and outbound deliveries made, since last time the stock value was posted to the ledger. The ledger accounts used are the ones set in Settings - Company settings - Accounting settings.

Once posted to the ledger the stock adjustment transactions are not possible to edit any more, so please make sure to make any changes before posting to the ledger. Should you discover that you need to adjust some inbound delivery, once the stock transactions have been posted to ledger, you have the option to delete the journal entry, as long as it is the last one in the journal entry series. If you delete the journal entry all the stock transactions included will be unreconciled again.
  1. Select Stock and articles - Stock adjustments.
You can also post the stock value to the ledger from Accounting - Journal entries. When you click the arrow at the button New journal entry, you can select the option Post stock transactions to ledger.
  1. Click the button Select date and post to ledger.
Below the date picker you will find information about up until which date, stock transactions so far have been posted to the ledger.
  1. Select the date for which you want to post transactions up until.
  2. Select Post to ledger.
