Send a claim for ROT or RUT deduction

  1. Go to the Claim ROT and RUT (AR531000) window.
  2. In the Action drop-down list, select Claim if it is not already selected.
  3. Select the type of claim you created an invoice for, for example ROT. The table displays the invoice you created and released in Step 4 and 5 of the Claim ROT and RUT deduction process.
  4. Select the line with the invoice in the table, and click Process.

    Your claim is processed, an XML file is downloaded to your browser's default location, and you see the in the window toolbar.

    You can also access the file by clicking the Ref. no. link in the table to open the sales invoice. You will then see that an attachment has been created in the upper right corner. If you click it, the Files dialog box opens, with the exported XML file.
  5. Go to the Skatteverket website and upload the file.
  6. When you receive payment from the Swedish Tax Agency, book the payment by doing the following:
    1. Click the Balancing debit note ref. no. link in the Claim ROT and RUT (AR531000) (by navigating to the correct invoice via the Exported action) or the Sales invoices (AR301000) window for the correct invoice (in the Document services details (Sweden) tab).
    2. Click Actions and select Enter payment/apply note.
    3. In the Customer payments (AR302000) window that opens, select the ROT or RUT payment check box in the top part, and click Release.
