How do I reset an employee's email address?

If the employee is registered with a different email address in another company on vismaspcs.se, it can't be changed by you or the employee. You will need to deactivate the employee's services in the employee list and reset the email address.

You should only reset the email address if it cannot be changed by you or the employee.

Here's how to reset the email address:

  1. Select Lön Smart - Employees.
  2. Select the employee from the list and choose the tab Employment.
  3. Uncheck The employee registers times/deviations in Visma Lön Anställd and/or The employee registers expenses in Visma Utlägg.
  4. Select the Pay tab and choose as PDF under Send payslips.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Select the Basic information tab.
  7. Click Change email.
  8. Click Cancel.

If you click Continue, you'll be taken to Mina tjänster. There, you can't reset the email address, only change it.

  1. Click Reset email.
  2. Select Save.

The connection between the employee's details for Visma services and Visma Lön Smart will be removed when you reset the email address. When you then register a new email address for the employee and reactivate the services in the employee list, a new user will be created on vismaspcs.se and linked to the employee's details in the payroll program.

  1. Enter a new email address on the Basic information tab.
  2. Reactivate the services for the employee that you unchecked in steps 2 and 3.
  3. Select Save.
