Book employees' salaries on cost centres and projects

If you want to book employees' salaries on cost centres and/or projects, you should first activate the function.

Do the following:

Select Settings - Payroll settings.
Select the Accounting tab.
Check Use cost centres and/or Use projects.

Now, all profit and loss accounts will allow registration of cost centres and/or projects.

When importing from Visma Tid Smart/Pro or Visma Lön Anställd, the cost centre and project selected for the employee will be added to the imported lines.

If you are importing from Visma Utlägg and a project and/or cost centre is selected for the registration, it will be imported to Visma Lön Smart; otherwise, the cost centre and project selected for the employee will be added to the imported lines.

Now, you can register cost centres and/or projects in the employee list.

Select Lön Smart - Employees, the Pay tab.
Click the button to the right of the Cost centre/Project field.
Select the cost centre/project to be specified on pay rows for the employee.

When working with registering pay, the employee's salary will be booked both on the ledger account and on the cost centre/project, and it is automatically registered when you create a new payslip for the employee.

To view cost centres and/or projects, click Show/hide projects and cost centres at the bottom of the payslip. There, you can change or remove cost centres/projects on the employee's payslip. You can also modify and remove the suggested cost centre or project.

On shortcut rows created when importing from Visma Lön Anställd, the cost centre and/or project specified for the employee will be retrieved. Recurring items on every payslip will also have the cost centre and/or project specified for the employee.
