Cost centres

If you want to post an employee's pay to a cost centre (expenditure centre, department) you use the Cost centres feature.

You can use up to three groups of cost centres in the program. Each group must be given a name. Under each group, you specify the cost units associated with the unit that you want to monitor. Read more in the topic Add cost centres and cost units.

Under Settings - Import and export you can also choose to import or export cost centres. Read more in the topic Import and export.

You can also receive a follow-up of the payroll costs per cost centre. Read more in the topic Book employees' salaries on cost centres and projects.

You activate the cost centre feature under Settings - Payroll settings on the Accounting tab. When the feature has been activated, the option Cost centres is shown under Accounting in the menu to the left.
