Cost centres and cost units

In Visma eAccounting Standaard, you can use cost centres and cost units. A cost centre is used to monitor your activities at a more detailed level by posting costs and income to a unit or fixed asset. If you have a truck for which you want to see exactly what costs and income it generates, you can do this using cost centres.

You can use up to three cost centres in the program. Each cost centre must be given a name. Under each cost centre, you specify the cost units associated with the centre that you want to monitor. When you have activated and added the cost centres and cost units you want to use, they are automatically available when you create new journal entries or invoices.

Below are some examples of how to work with cost centres in different parts of the program.
