Cost centres and cost units
In Visma eAccounting Standaard, you can use cost centres and cost units. A cost centre is used to monitor your activities at a more detailed level by
You can use up to three cost centres in the program. Each cost centre must be given a name. Under each cost centre, you specify the cost units associated with the centre that you want to monitor.
Below are some examples of how to work with cost centres in different parts of the program.
You purchase e.g. fuel, which must be posted as a cost for a machine. The purchase invoice must be registered and the cost divided up between the cost centres you registered.

You make a purchase with a receipt, where the cost must be posted on a cost centre. The receipt must be registered and the cost divided up between the relevant cost units.

You sell a service, where the income must be posted on a cost centre. You create the sales invoice and divide up the income between the cost units you choose to register.
