Calculate depreciation

1. In the Calculate depreciation (FA502000) window, in the To period field, select the financial period that ends the period range for which you want to calculate depreciation expenses.

2. In the Action field, select one of these two:

   • Calculate only if you only want to calculate depreciation expenses for the assets.

   • Depreciate to calculate the depreciation expenses and to create transactions for the assets.
     

     If no value is specified in the To period field, the Calculate only option is selected by default, and you cannot edit the Action field.
3. To run the selected action for specified fixed assets in the table, select the check box in front of those fixed assets lines.
4. Click Process. To run the selected action for all fixed assets in the table, click Process all.
