Create a project

  1. Go to the Projects (PM301000) window.
  2. If necessary, click to empty the fields and prepare the window for a new project.
  3. In the Project ID field, the system displays <NEW>. The ID will automatically be assigned to the project when you save it.
    The project is automatically set to On hold and the status is In planning.
  4. In the Customer field, if this is a customer-related project, select the customer you want to relate this project to.
    If you are creating an internal project, skip this field.
  5. In the Description field, give a description of your project. This field is mandatory.
  6. On the General settings tab, fill in the mandatory details, which is the project's start date, and for some types of project, the default subaccount.
    Fill in any other details you need.
