Reuse due dates and inactive periods on checkpoints
When working with specific tasks for your customer, you can set a due date for each checkpoint and period. You can also inactivate a period on a checkpoint. If you want to reuse these settings for the following period, do as follows:
- Go to Settings - Tasks.
- Click on the task you want to reuse the settings for.
- Select the checkbox Reuse due dates and inactive periods.
- Select Save. The program will now automatically add the same settings you are using in the current period to the next period.
Below you can read a detailed description of what happens when you activate Reuse due dates and inactive periods.
When you mark Reuse due dates and inactive periods, the program will copy the due dates and inactivations for the previous 52 weeks and put them on the next 52 weeks. Subsequently the program will copy the current week's settings to the equivalent week of the following year. You can always undo a copy by unmarking the checkbox.
When you mark Reuse due dates and inactive periods, the program will copy the due dates and inactivations for the previous 12 months and put them on the next 12 months. Subsequently the program will copy the current month's settings to the equivalent month of the following year. You can always undo a copy by unmarking the checkbox.
When you mark Reuse due dates and inactive periods, the program will copy the due dates and inactivations for the previous financial year/calendar year and put them on the current and next year. At the end of the year, the program will copy the current year's settings to the next year. You can always undo a copy by unmarking the checkbox.
