About contract renewal
When a contract has expired, you and your customer may want to continue the relationship under the same terms.
In this case, you can renew an expired contract to avoid the provision of services being interrupted.
The contract renewal process and its outcome are defined by the contract type. Contracts of the following types can be renewed:

When you renew a contract of this type, the expiration date is shifted by the duration; apart from that, contract stays unchanged.
The renewal fee, if one is configured, is invoiced. After renewal is completed, the contract is again in the fulfillment stage.
A contract can be renewed either manually or automatically (if scheduled).

When you renew a contract of this type, a copy of an expired contract is created with the Draft status.
You can modify contract details, if required, and activate it on the date of your choice.
You can track contracts that are about to expire by using the Utgående kundavtal (CT401000) (CT401000) window.
