Next level flexibility with new permissions!
Now comes a much requested update - the flexibility to configure permissions for each menu item per user!
The previous permission page has been replaced with a more intuitive interface, optimised to give you control and flexibility over user permissions. Clicking on a specific user opens a dedicated permission page, allowing full-access to tailor permissions for each menu item for that specific user.
Under Permissions, you can now choose from four options:

Additionally, the Approvals feature now offers two streamlined options:

Only users with full access to Visma eEkonomi will have visibility into Permissions under Settings, and only they can modify permissions. Just like before, users can’t adjust permissions for themselves.
Please note that some of the user permissions within your company might have changed with this update.

Only sales is replaced with Access without payments for Sales, which also includes read-only for Apps and extensions, as well as no access to other parts.

Limited is replaced with Access without payments for Sales and Purchasing, which also includes no access to Cash and bank, as well as read-only for other parts.

You do know that our excellent analysis tool Visma Ekonomiöversikt is included in Visma eEkonomi Pro, right? If you glance up to the left in the program and click on Visma eEkonomi Pro, you'll find Visma Ekonomiöversikt there. Here you can analyse your figures in depth and have them presented in nice graphs. You can also work with budget and forecasts here.
Now we can also proudly present a new report called Dimensions. You'll find it as a separate tab under Reports - Income statement. As the name suggests, the report can show data for a specific month and each dimension you use can be presented in a separate column. This makes it possible to get a good overview and compare the different dimensions. Just what you asked for!

Approval at its best!
We're levelling up our approval feature for purchase invoices. On the supplier you can now choose one or more approvers and decide in which order they should approve your purchase invoices. You can choose between:

It will also be possible to approve multiple invoices in one go.
We've added a new setting in Settings - Company settings - Accounting settings, where you can enable email notifications to be sent out whenever there is a purchase invoice to approve. You can choose between three different intervals:

Credit check on private individuals
Finally you can perform a credit check or complaint check on private individuals directly in Visma eEkonomi Pro! This means that you also can do this on sole proprietorships, trading companies and limited partnerships. It's required to use BankID when performing a credit check on a private individual, so keep it ready!

Credit check now available in editing mode
Yes indeed! Earlier, you could only access the credit check feature through the customer register, but now you also have it when in editing mode.
We have also added information about the last time you performed a credit check, complaint check or a monitoring.
And last but not least, we've also improved the error message when the corporate ID is missing. Instead we show you a dialogue box where you can fill in the missing corporate ID and the customer information will be updated automatically.

Negative rows on ROT/RUT and green technology invoices
If you're invoicing for ROT/RUT or green technology, you can now finally use negative rows. If a project gets cancelled or postponed, instead of creating a separate invoice, you can add a negative row to the existing invoice.
So, it's much easier to handle advance payments from your customers because you don't need to create a new invoice - you just fix the one you already have.

Good news are coming your way! Finally you will have the quote or order number included in the email subject when sending quotes and orders to your customers. Mini list now also added to customer information
Time for yet another customer request! You might recognise this mini list that we've now added to the customer information view, from other places such as sales invoices, orders, quotes, and purchase invoices.
It's simply there to make it easier for you to toggle between your customers, without having to save or cancel the customer you're currently working on.

Improvements for Non-Profits and Economic Associations - and a report to be enjoyed by everyone!
For non-profit organisations and economic associations, we have two new improvements in the shapes of a new report and a new column.
The new report called Member and customer list can be found under Accounting - Reports. Based on a filter, you can generate a list of active and inactive members and customers, including information such as number, name, contact details, status, and if you wish, personal identity number or organisation number.
On top of that, the new column called Category has been added in the export of the customer register, stating whether an individual is a customer or marked as a member. Except for giving you an overview of your members and customers, this allows for another way to process multiple by using the import register feature. Simply export your customer register, edit the information whether someone's a member or customer in the Category column in the CSV file, and import it!
But what if you're not a non-profit organisation or economic association? Luckily, you can enjoy the new report too!
Similarly, there's a new report called Customer list in Accounting - Reports that allows you to generate a report over your active and inactive customers. It includes information such as number, name, contact details, status, and if you wish, personal identity number or organisation number.
Both reports are of course available to view directly in the program and downloadable as PDF and CSV files. We hope this helps in getting an overview of your customers (and members, if you're a non-profit organisation or economic association)!

Exciting update for Non-Profits and Economic Associations - know your members from your customers!
Gone are the days of confusion! In a fantastic leap forward for our non-profit organisations and economic associations, you can now separate your members from your customers. With this brand-new improvement, individuals can effortlessly be distinguished between cherished members and valued customers. So, what does this improvement include?

A checkbox has been added in the customer information where you can mark an individual as a member.

You can also choose to process multiple in one go, marking several customers as members in the customer register.

A new column and a new filter have been added in the customer register, clearly indicating and helping you filter whether an individual belongs to the member or customer category.

New functionality
Automatic import of tax transactions from
Hey there, exciting things are happening! For you who have a limited liability company, we're now releasing the possibility to set up a direct connection to Visma eEkonomi Pro. This connection means we'll have read access to your tax account, and presto, we can fetch current transactions and slot them right under Cash and bank on your tax account. These transactions can then be managed just like manually created ones. Brilliant, isn't it?

A new report available for your projects
With our new Project list report, you can select single, multiple or all of your projects for an easy overview. Show SEK on printout for sales documents
Clarify any confusion about currency by enabling our much requested feature to show SEK on the printout for your sales documents. Just go to Settings - Company settings and the Invoice settings tab. There, tick the box Show domestic currency on sales documents to show the currency SEK on the printout for quotes, orders, and invoices for domestic customers.

If you're working with cost centres, we've got some good news for you! We've made things a lot easier in several reports by adding a handy checkbox. Instead of going through the hassle of selecting each cost centre one by one, you can now simply click the Select all checkbox. This awesome feature works in the following reports:

It's a perfect match!
We've made it even easier to start sending e-invoices to your customers. When you create a new customer or edit an existing one, we will check if the organisation number exists as a receiver of e-invoices. If we get a perfect match, the customer will be connected automatically. So the next time you send an invoice to that customer, e-invoice will be the preferred way. As simple as that!
If we don't get a perfect match, you still have the chance to find out if your customer can receive e-invoices. Read more in the topic Add customer.

Payment confirmation here for ya!
When the invoice is paid in full you can create a payment confirmation for your customer. Just open the invoice and choose Create payment confirmation PDFunder the Send/Print button. This option is only available if the Terms of payment field is set to net X days on the customer.
Next up is the option to send a payment confirmation by e-mail directly from the program.

A new report coming your way
The report Sales statistics monthly is now available under Accounting - Reports. It is similar to the Sales statistics report, but focuses only on article statistics. You can filter on article numbers, article labels, projects, and cost units. Project and cost unit filters are only available if they are used. The report printout includes the columns: Article number, Article name, Statistics, and a column for each month selected.

Improved PDF reports and minor fixes in Account analysis
It's now possible to create PDF print outs of vouchers visible in the expanded views in the tabs Profit and loss as well as Balance sheet under Account analysis, to allow you to quickly and easily print certain events from your reports.
While we were at it, we went also ahead and fixed a few whoopsies, which you may or may not have noticed. First off, we no longer mix commas and decimal points in our PDF reports - they're all consistent now! And finally, the setting Show all accounts will follow to the print dialog as intended. Better late than never, right?

Don't miss out on new e-invoices
Do you sometimes miss out on new e-invoices you've received in Visma eEkonomi? The new default company setting applies to all companies except for Accounting offices, and with it you'll get an e-mail every time when you receive an e-invoice. You can of course adjust this setting if you'd rather get the e-mail reminder daily or weekly instead. Just pop by Settings - Company settings - Invoice settings - Email settings for received invoices.
Did you already have the box ticked and the settings adjusted to your preferences? Don't worry, your settings will stay the same!

An anticipated update in the customer register import
You can now add different terms of delivery and delivery methods in the CSV file for a quick and easy import of the customer register - but that's not all! You can also create completely new ones, not previously in the program, and the program will create and add them to your customers' information. Pretty nice, right?
On top of that, we have also added a new column to the CSV file, where you can add and import customer labels. Want to add several customer labels to the same customer? No worries! Just separate the labels with a semicolon and you're good to go.

From 3 April you can easily update to Lön Direkt from Visma eEkonomi Lönebesked. Select Salary - Payslip in the menu to start a guide that will make the transfer smooth and easy. When the guide is finished, employees' details from 2022 and 2023 will have been transferred to Lön Direkt.
Before you start with the transfer, however, there are some things to keep in mind about Visma eEkonomi Lönebesked. We therefore recommend that you check the topic Migrate to Lön Direkt from Visma eEkonomi Lönebesked in the Lön Direkt help texts.
You can still create payslips in Visma eEkonomi Lönebesked during the entire month of April, but from 1 May onwards you will have to upgrade to Lön Direkt before you can continue working in the program.

Submit tax return automatically via Skatteverket's API
We are happy to inform you that we now support automatic submission of tax return via Skatteverket's API, when using the extension Visma eEkonomi Deklaration/Årsredovisning. By using this functionality, you can say goodbye to printing or download and transfer of files. The new submission method automatically sends all INK2 tax forms (INK2, INK2R, INK2S to your personal space at Skatteverket. Note that you still need to sign them, once they have been transferred.
This functionality is available for limited companies and for financial years ending after 2022-08-31.

Process batch payments faster!
In Visma eEkonomi Pro it is now possible to select multiple invoices directly from one bank transaction. If you regularly deal with batch payments for multiple invoices at the same time, reconciling them just got a lot easier!
In Cash and bank you can use the new option Select multiple for payments of (credited) purchase and sales invoices, and link several unpaid invoices to the bank transaction in one go. When you select an invoice, the list will be updated automatically, leaving only invoices with an amount less than the balance that still needs to be reconciled. By using the search function and the possibility to sort on columns, you can process your batch payments even faster!

Yes, it's true! In Visma eEkonomi Pro you can now add multiple references on your customers, quotes, orders and sales invoices. Add, edit and delete references directly from the customer register or on your sales documents. The selected reference on the customer will be preselected on new sales documents.

Discount agreements are here!
The waiting is over! It is now possible to create discount agreements in Visma eEkonomi Pro and add them to your customers.
You can add discounts on your article labels or on single articles. When you add the discount agreement on a customer, you will also get the possibility to update your recurring invoices with the new discounts.

Separate e-mail addresses for quotes, orders and invoices
Finally it is possible to use separate e-mail addresses for quotes, orders and invoices when sending them by e-mail to your customers.
When you create or edit a customer, use the new e-mail fields to add the e-mail addresses to which the customer wants to receive their quotes, orders or invoices.
The new fields are:

New report for project result
Based on customer requests we have now added a new report In Visma eEkonomi Pro. Let us present the Project result report!
The report includes the columns Period, Accumulated, and Accumulated from project start. This means that you can follow up your projects in a better way since the report spans over several financial years.
We've also improved the printout dialogue when you want to print multiple projects. When you have selected which projects you want to print, you can choose if you want to present the output as one report per project or a joint report for the selected projects.

Dormant input VAT when allocating purchase invoices
We are now supporting period allocation of input VAT when registering purchase invoices using the accrual accounting method.
When you create a period allocation plan for a purchase invoice, you can choose to apply dormant input VAT. If you are using Visma Skatt & Bokslut Pro a sub-appendix will be generated automatically, which documents the reconciliation of the dormant VAT.

Support for negative quantity on order lines
Just like for quotes and sales invoices, It is now possible to add a negative quantity on order lines.
If you want to offer the customer a discount, you can do this by adding negative lines to the order. For example, if you offer "buy 3 for the price of 2", you add an article line to the order where you enter 3 in the Quantity column. On the next line, you add the same article, but enter -1 in the Quantity column. This way, the customer can clearly see on the order that you deducted the discount.

Credit sold invoices when using the cash accounting method
If you are selling invoices via Visma Betalt Direkt and are using the cash accounting method, it is now possible to credit a sold invoice in Visma eEkonomi Pro. Note that it will only be possible to credit the invoice in full.
You credit the sold invoice just like you do when you credit a normal invoice. The only difference is that you will have different options when posting to the ledger, depending on if you have registered payment or not for the sold invoice.
We have also changed the process for sold invoices in Visma Betalt Direkt for you who are using the cash accounting method. The sales will be posted to the ledger when you register the payment from Visma Betalt Direkt under Cash and bank.

Information about workplace street address on the payroll tax report
The parliament has decided that from January 2023 employers should inform about the workplace street address in the payroll tax report. The information is entered in the fields Workplace street address and Workplace city under Settings - Company settings - Payroll settings.
A workplace is where the employee carries out the main part of their work. A company can have several workplaces, but an employee can only have one workplace at the same employer. If the employee carries out their work at several places, it is the employer's responsibility to do an assessment of where the workplace is. Please note that workplace is not the same as work site number, which should be reported in the payroll tax report.

In Visma eEkonomi Pro you can now update multiple accounts in one go by selecting the Process multiple accounts button, which you find under Settings - Chart of accounts. Simply select the checkbox for those accounts you want to update and choose Process multiple accounts, in order to edit the account details.

In Visma eEkonomi Pro you can now update information and change the status on multiple projects in one go by selecting the Process multiple projects button, which you find under Accounting - Projects. Simply select the checkbox for those projects you want to update and choose Process multiple projects, in order to edit the project details.

Legal update
New rules for green technology
From 1 January 2023 new rules apply for green technology.
The tax deduction for installation of solar panels will increase from today's 15% to 20%. When you enable the setting Green technology rules apply under Settings - Company settings - Invoice settings, a new field will appear where you can add the percentage yourself. The default value is 15%.
