Exciting News: the Visma Spcs AI Assistant!

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our latest innovation – the Visma Spcs smart AI chat bot, or simply put the AI Assistant! Here's why you'll want to give it a go and make the most of it:

Instant response 24/7

Whether you’re a night owl or an early bird, the AI Assistant is available around the clock, every day, ready to answer your questions whenever you need it. No queueing and instant help of course.

Smooth smart conversation

Say no to awkward robotic chats and weirdly formulated questions! Chat with the AI Assistant using everyday language and ask follow up questions. It’ll be able to follow your conversation - just like you’re talking to a real person.

Continuous learning

The AI Assistant gets smarter by every chat, so it’s constantly getting better at helping you with your questions. But don’t worry, the AI Assistant is no rookie! It has already been through rigorous training with our superb customer support team.

Multilingual

Not that comfortable with English? ¿Qué tal el español? Ou français? The AI Assistant is multilingual, ready to engage with you in the language you prefer! Incredibile, vero?

You’ll find the AI Assistant in the menu bar to the upper right of the screen under Help. And if you’re looking for the written help texts, you’ll find them a bit more to the right under the Question mark icon.

Next level flexibility with new permissions!

Now comes a much requested update - the flexibility to configure permissions for each menu item per user!

The previous permission page has been replaced with a more intuitive interface, optimised to give you control and flexibility over user permissions. Clicking on a specific user opens a dedicated permission page, allowing full-access to tailor permissions for each menu item for that specific user.

Under Permissions, you can now choose from four options:

  • Full access

  • Limited

  • Read-only

  • Read-only - auditor

Additionally, the Approvals feature now offers two streamlined options:

  • Approve/Reject

  • None

Only users with full access to Visma eEkonomi will have visibility into Permissions under Settings, and only they can modify permissions. Just like before, users can’t adjust permissions for themselves.

Please note that some of the user permissions within your company might have changed with this update.

  • Only sales is replaced with Access without payments for Sales, which also includes read-only for Apps and extensions, as well as no access to other parts.

  • Limited is replaced with Access without payments for Sales and Purchasing, which also includes no access to Cash and bank, as well as read-only for other parts.

Here it is - the report Dimensions

You do know that our excellent analysis tool Visma Ekonomiöversikt is included in Visma eEkonomi Pro, right? If you glance up to the left in the program and click on Visma eEkonomi Pro, you'll find Visma Ekonomiöversikt there. Here you can analyse your figures in depth and have them presented in nice graphs. You can also work with budget and forecasts here.

Now we can also proudly present a new report called Dimensions. You'll find it as a separate tab under Reports - Income statement. As the name suggests, the report can show data for a specific month and each dimension you use can be presented in a separate column. This makes it possible to get a good overview and compare the different dimensions. Just what you asked for!

Improvement

Approval at its best!

We're levelling up our approval feature for purchase invoices. On the supplier you can now choose one or more approvers and decide in which order they should approve your purchase invoices. You can choose between:

  • No specific approver (default)

  • Approve in the following order

  • Approve in any order

It will also be possible to approve multiple invoices in one go.

We've added a new setting in Settings - Company settings - Accounting settings, where you can enable email notifications to be sent out whenever there is a purchase invoice to approve. You can choose between three different intervals:

  • Each time an invoice is ready for approval

  • Once a day

  • Once a week

So why not activate this feature and improve your approval flow already today!
